The Grassroots Code aims to bring everyone in grassroots football together by promoting positive standards of behavior that we can all support.
Respect is earned through good behavior.
Developed with input from grassroots clubs, The Grassroots Code is here to uplift and maintain the standards expected at your club and others across the community.
To achieve this, The Grassroots Code outlines clear Standards of Behaviour that foster a positive football environment for everyone. These standards are straightforward, ensuring they are easy for everyone to understand and remember.

• Show Respect - we treat others how we want to be treated.
• Embrace Inclusion - we celebrate our differences because football is for everyone.
• Work as a Team - we’re united both on and off the pitch.
• Prioritise Safety - we all share the responsibility of safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults.
These Standards of Behaviour help create a football experience that is positive, inclusive, and respectful for everyone. They build a sense of pride in your club, strengthen even the most established teams, and reflect the values of our communities.
