Involves supporting the club in maintaining the Charter Standard award. I am responsible for Cottingham Rangers annual health check and maintaining the coach’s and volunteers’ qualifications and DBS checks.
It’s my job to represent the voice of the child, ensure safeguarding best practices are adhered too and ensure that the Club has a child-focussed emphasis at all times.
Keeping our children safe
As a proactive club, we have also participated in the partnership between the FA and the NSPCC, taking part in a focus group last year as to how the FA and NSPCC can best support young players.
